Spelling Bee Winner

This month interested 4th and 5th grade students competed in an online spelling bee via the Scripps National Spelling Bee online testing platform. Vanderlyn wants to congratulate fourth grader Prerna D. as our school spelling bee winner! Prerna will go on to represent Vanderlyn at the DeKalb County School District Bee in January. 

Virtual Family Empowerment Conference

Let's Celebrate!  You are invited to attend a Virtual Parent and Family Empowerment Conference, and participate in “Educating Minds! Empowering Families! Engaging Virtually!

Informational Sessions on November 16 – 20, 2020 at 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM, and November 21, 2020 at 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM via virtual platforms. This Family Engagement Month Celebration District Signature Week Event will provide parents and families virtual engaging sessions, digital resources, interpretation rooms, vendors, and prizes.
